Perfectly located, just a short 15 minutes from historic Hendersonville, North Carolina and 25 minutes from the cosmopolitan charm of Greenville, South Carolina our cabins are nestled in one of only two known Kingdoms within the United States.  Kingdom of the Happy Land has been a place of peace since the end of the Civil War.

“Fox Run” is a new fully appointed cabin complete with the feel of a rustic mountain get away coupled with the conveniences of modern life. The cabin is seamlessly situated adjacent to our small concord vineyard and 170 acres of our farm and 33,000 acres of the Greenville watershed preserve.  From the front porch of Fox Run, the Palmetto Trail is a mere two hundred yards away.

Fox Run has all you will need for a comfortable stay: fully appointed kitchen, bath, king and queen size beds, coffee maker, fully stocked wine bar, grill and picnic area and many other quality features.

Tranquility in today’s world is at a premium.  We offer tranquility coupled with comfort.  The property is gated and secure, the trails are open for exploration and we invite you to take a step back in time with us and celebrate life and freedom. Your Kingdom experience awaits….

about the farm

Our farm contains a full working vineyard and hemp project.  We have worked tirelessly to preserve the integrity of this rare property and are pleased to share with you the joys which accompany this tranquil acreage.

Whether you are an avid outdoors enthusiast or you just want a break with a good book on our back porch, Fox Run is an opportunity you do not want to miss.  We are surrounded by wildlife of all kinds and enjoy the quite atmosphere afforded by the Kingdom.

Features

We provide one complimentary bottle of wine with more available for purchase. There is a Keurig coffee pot and fully stocked dishes (starter set of 6). You will have a gas grill and a picnic area for your personal use.

We allow small dogs and there is a designated smoking area OUTSIDE the cabin – no smoking indoors.

Also, there is an option for us to stock the kitchen with some groceries for the rental cost + 25% fee.

The Kingdom of the Happy Land is a special place.  Historically it was home to one of only two kingdoms ever established in the United States of America.  It is a sanctuary and our desire is to share this rich location with those who appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings.

Local Attractions

Lake Summit is only 3 miles from the front gate of the Kingdom and on the western boundary is bordered by Camp Greystone. The Kingdom is located in the Tuxedo township of Henderson County, North Carolina. The property is 30 minutes from Greenville, South Carolina and 30 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina.  The area is known for its natural resources and beauty.
